InternetDJ has been publishing independent electronic music since 1997, when it started as a way for artists to share their work without going through a record label. It is now a working community of producers, from people posting a first beat to people who have been releasing for decades.
Artists keep every right to what they upload. InternetDJ claims no ownership of any music on the site and acts only as a host, so the recording, the composition and everything around them stay with the people who made them.
Music uploaded here is used for AI model training only where the artist has explicitly opted that individual track in. Consent is per song, off by default, and can be withdrawn.
The thing the site is built around is written feedback. A track published here is meant to be reviewed by other producers in words rather than collect silent plays, and a numeric rating is always offered but never required. Plays also earn IDJC, the site’s Solana token.
