Each visual chapter of the DVD/Cinema version correlates to audio tracks on the CD. 1 Giant Leap was created by musicians Jamie Catto (Faithless) and Duncan Bridgeman, who traveled to over 20 locations from Kenya to India to Australia to the UK to find a universal pulse and record the entire experience using two pieces of equipment: a laptop and a digital camera, melding 21st century technology with the human experience. Over 50 musicians, authors, storytellers and spiritual leaders participated in the creation of 1 Giant Leap, including: Michael Stipe, Robbie Williams, Baaba Maal, Michael Franti, Neneh Cherry, Speech (Arrested Development), Grant Lee Phillips, Dennis Hopper, Brian Eno, Stewart Copeland and Asha Bhosle, among many others. 1 Giant Leap will be released in early 2002.
