Four Tet Makes His GALA Debut

Peckham Rye Park, May Bank Holiday weekend, 28–30 May 2027. DJ Harvey takes the Pleasure Dome. More names are still to come.

GALA has announced the first wave of artists for its eleventh edition, and Four Tet leads it with his first GALA appearance. The London festival has run since 2016. Kieran Hebden has been a major figure in electronic music for more than twenty years, playing everything from underground dancefloors to the biggest stages in the world. In May 2027 he plays Peckham Rye. The 2027 theme is The House We Keep. It draws on house music’s roots in the pioneering clubs of Chicago and New York and celebrates the communities that keep the culture going. Each day has its own sound. Friday focuses on bass. Four Tet, Shy FX, Skin On Skin, Oppidan, Introspekt and Benji B & Judah are on the bill, with stage takeovers from Rinse FM, Deviation, HVYWGHT and BORN N BRED. Saturday is club music, with HAAi, Egyptian Lover, Angel D’lite, Peach, Freakenstein, and Ogazon & Ryan Elliott. Adonis returns for an open-air takeover, and Peach’s Dreamland and FWEAKY also host stages. Sunday covers house, disco and deeper selections from Antal & HUNEE, Chez Damier, Gene On Earth, Louise Chen, Moxie and Soichi Terada. Rush Hour returns from Amsterdam, and Moxie’s On Loop and Limousine Dream also feature. DJ Harvey takes over GALA’s Pleasure Dome for a DJ Harvey & Friends takeover. Prosumer and Verraco are also among the first-wave names. More artists and programme details will be announced in early 2027. Presale tickets go on sale Friday 30 October at 10am UK time. Presale registration is open now at thisisgala.co.uk.
