One of the best SNLs in recent memory.
Jim Carrey and The Black Keys helped kick off the year’s first Saturday Night Live in a spot-on parody of Darren Aronofsky’s new psychological thriller, Black Swan. In the skit, Carrey took on the role of Mila Kunis’s character, Lily, in which we saw him donning a black leotard and tutu in an attempt to upstage fellow ballerina Nina, played by Natalie Portman. The comedian arrived at studio saying, “Sorry I'm late. I had to go numbers 3 and 4,” before shedding his jacket to reveal a pair of chicken-wing-like tattoos on his back. He then put his fellow dancers on alert, announcing, “Get ready to rock, bitches,” and began launching into a clumsy routine that ended with a martial art-style chop. Carrey’s skit no-doubt contributed to SNL’s biggest overnight rating since last May. The show continues next Saturday with host Gwyneth Paltrow and musical guest Cee Lo Green.
