Are them fighting words?
William Leonard Roberts II (aka Rick Ross) is turning his attention from 50 Cent to Eminem after a positive push of his latest album Deeper Than Rap. Speaking with MTV News he said, "I mean, I'm a fan of Eminem. I'm a fan first and foremost. But after defeating Curly, my confidence is at an all-time high. Maybe before I wouldn't have challenged him, but I'm contemplating it now. The game is commending me for my victory. That's all I wanted to do was ... punish the opposition. I think I've done a great job and I'm gonna continue to do that." He went on to say, "I think he's a bigger and better artist than what Curly is. So if I was looking to fulfill that excitement or that rush, that's who I have to address." About Eminem's latest album Relapse, "I'm trying to be a part of that," Ross said. "It's either way. We gonna see each other one way or another." Whether this means a collaboration or sparking a heated rivalry remains to be seen. His third studio album was released on April 21, 2009 via the label Maybach Music Group. The first single, "Magnificent" featured John Legend.
