> Leeds club backtobasics is poised to release the latest mix album from New York DJ and producer Danny Tenaglia. Details here. The imaginatively entitled ‘Backtobasics presents Danny Tenaglia’ is due to hit the shelves on March 25 through UK imprint React. Although a tracklisting is currently unavailable, we are promised that the mix is ‘a proper dancefloor album, no fillers or tired tunes’. Speaking about the album release, Basics main man Dave Beer said: “We can't express enough how excited we are about Danny Tenaglia mixing our album and celebrating 10 years of backtobasics. “We were one of the first promoters to bring Danny over to England many years ago and we have remained friends ever since, doing parties in Ibiza and London. So it's a fitting tribute for Danny top do this for us in the true spirit of house music. We are very proud and totally buzzing.” Basics celebrated its tenth birthday recently and guest DJ Carl Cox, along with the club’s punters, was persuaded to head out clubbing in pyjamas.
