The Prodigy Headline Creamfields 30

Saturday night at Daresbury, August 28. First Creamfields since 2013. The rest of the bill is still coming.

Creamfields turns 30 in 2027, and the first names are already up. The festival runs Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August at Daresbury, Cheshire, the same site that sold out to about 80,000 this year. The Prodigy headline the APEX stage on Saturday 28 August. It is their first Creamfields since 2013. Liam Howlett and Maxim, with Leo Crabtree on drums and Rob Holliday on guitar, playing a catalogue that still runs through Firestarter, Breathe and Out of Space. The timing is not subtle. The Fat of the Land also turns 30 in 2027. Cream called them one of the most influential electronic acts of all time. Howlett’s line on the booking was the usual understatement: every time they go out, they spend a lot of time talking about what is possible. Franky Rizardo takes APEX on the Sunday, his first festival run after two years away. Saturday also has Jamie Jones and Marco Carola in the Steel Yard. Hannah Laing is in as an English festival exclusive. More names are coming. This is the early bill, not the finished one. Tickets are on sale at creamfields.com. As of early October, two-day camping and Dreamfields are already gone. If you want a bed and the full weekend, that window is closing before the rest of the lineup even lands.
