Another bit of mixing practice. Foundation is bassline, pads, drums and lead as midi run through FL Flex. Vocals are SynthV run through Vocodex. For the lead and drums, I used an audio-to-audio generative model to extract more realistic acoustic textures, which I then doubled very low under the original MIDI base. I glued those layers together on a bus with just a little reverb and some compression from Maximus. Used IDJ for mastering instead of Landr. Issues to be fixed: Vocals are floating a bit too separate, might try routing them through the Lead instrument bus to bring them into the mix.…
