Fans rejoice as news of Coldplay's forthcoming album and subsequent world tour was announced today. Preliminary details including ticketing info are here. Coldplay's follow-up album to their Grammy award winning "A Rush of Blood to the Head" will be out in June. They have also announced a world tour starting in the UK with shows in London, Bolton and Glasgow. Guitarist Jonny Buckland said in a statement, "We've spent a long time in the studio and haven't played a gig for 18 months so we can't wait to get out on tour and play our new songs live." Tickets will go on sale for £32.50 on Saturday March 5th 2005 at 9am. Go to Coldplay.com for more details.
